  Very welcoming. Menu was loaded. Staff friendly. Food took about 45 mins at peak dinner time. Worth the wait.

  Had lunch at the Victoria a few weeks ago with a large group of my Scottish Clan members and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were welcoming, premises were very clean, seats comfortable. The salad/vege buffet bar had an excellent choice to choose from. I had the Lamb Korma and it was absolutely delicious. I had been there before on a couple of occasions with the Partners of Veterans Association, and this venue has never disappointed.

  We ordered the chef special of $20 pork belly. There was a 20 min or so wait, mainly because it was busy and they were bringing out 5 dishes at once. The pork was quite nice but the crackling a bit hit and miss. The free included salad bar is always a great plus. Service was quite nice except for one girl that kept complaining about work.

  I have visited the Victoria hotel numerous times previously and will continue to frequent the Vic, the diverse menu gives little to be desired with a gracious salad bar and a fine selection of drink. In this capacity the Vic is one of the best priced hotels for lunch or dinner in the Adelaide Hills with a good chef to back it up.

  This hotel is more than it first appears. It's period exterior gives way to a much larger interior than expected. Serving good meals, well cooked, with just right portions. No embarrassing leftovers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a visit.
